Library

UNY Graduate School library has approximately 11.670 book collections. 2350 journals, 3060 thesis/ dissertation collections and subscribed to numbers of magazines and newspapers. The book collections keep increasing through book donations by alumni and the students who join Sandwich program. Graduate School Library is linked withe the central library of UNY which has approximately 33.124 book collections, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) library, Sunan Kalijaga Islamic National University (UIN Sunan Kalijaga) to be able to help each other finding suitable books for the students. UNY graduate school library has also subscribed to International Journal facility through Proquest.

Electronic Library

To improve the service quality, UNY Graduate School library develop a website for connecting to golbal community. This website can be accessed through http://library.pps.uny.ac.id. With this website, the library user can browse the desired collections anywhere and anytime without going to the library. Besides, the visitor can also enjoy the facility to access e-journals subscribed by UNY such as ProQuest (http://www.proquest.com/pqdweb), EBSCO (http://search.ebscohost.com) and Gale (http://infotrac.galegroup.com) which is the journal subscribed by the Ministry of Higher Education.

For the upcoming years, the library management will develop digital collection database consisting thesis, dissertation and e-book which can be accessed full text through LAN in the library.

Computer Lab and Internet Access

To support various academic activities, UNY Graduate School is facilitated with computer laboratory. Most of the computer in the lab are facilitated with internet which helps the students to find informations they need. The UNY graduate school computer lab is also incorporated with UNY computer center which can be used with low price.

Multimedia Classroom

UNY Graduate School classroom is facilitated with learning media which fits the students' need. All classroom are also facilitated with air conditioner to create comfortable learning environment.

Language Service

UNY Graduate School is an institution which cares about the language proficiency of its students and management. Therefore, UNY Graduate School has language service center which helps the students who have difficulties in understanding ENglish references especially in writing abstract for thesis/ dissertation. Even without direct service, this unit can help the students to get TOEFL certificate. To improve English language skills of the UNY Graduate School management, the language center conduct routine journal club.

Other Supporting Facilities

As the students of UNY, all graduate school students can use the university supporting facilities such as Computer Center, Health service center, fitness and sport facility, hot spot area, etc.
